When it comes to sights and attractions, Grove, OK has much more to offer than the beautiful Grand Lake and our incredible casino. While we do feel Grand Lake Casino is one of the top attractions in Grove, we know we’re partial. When you’re not playing games at our great facility, you can get outdoors and check out Lendonwood Gardens. This Grove garden is a must see for both locals and tourists.

The Best Grove Garden

Covering eight acres of land, you can spend an entire day at Lendonwood Gardens, strolling through lush vegetation and enjoying the views of over 1,500 plant species. Split into seven separate gardens, Lendonwood’s shady paths weave through each of the gardens, passing beautiful flower beds and even a Koi pond. Each distinct garden offers something different. For instance, you can check out the American Backyard Garden where the plants thrive with little water.

Lendonwood Gardens is open all year-round through daylight hours, with great things to see each season. However, visiting the gardens in the spring will surely payoff. At this time, you’ll catch sight of a wide array of colors, like that of azaleas, rhododendrons, and peonies! If you’re visiting in spring, be sure to visit the Azalea Garden.

Lendonwood Gardens: Year-Round Beauty

We could go on and on about our favorite Grove garden, but to truly get an idea of its great features, you’ll need to visit Lendonwood Gardens yourself. Upon request, you can take part in guided tours, and the gardens also provide paved paths for those with disabilities. A great attraction for the whole family, add Lendonwood Gardens on your trip’s agenda. You can find the gardens at 1308 West 13th Street in Grove. Give them a call today at 918.786.2938.

Of course, after a relaxing day meandering through the gardens, be sure to visit Grand Lake Casino for a night of great games and fun! Ready to book your stay at The Lodge? Make reservations right on our homepage! You can also contact us here or give us a call at 918.786.8528.
