As we mentioned above, Grand Lake has much to offer nature lovers. With more than 1,300 miles of shoreline and nearly 60,000 surface acres, Grand Lake has become an attraction for everyone from bird watchers to bass fishers.

In fact, Grand Lake has become one of the most popular sites for bass fishing in the entire nation! Grove, OK spent a considerable amount of money, nearly $3.7 million, on a park redesign project. This was intended to attract more fishing events to the area. Obviously the project has paid off since Grand Lake hosted the Bassmaster Classic in 2013 and again in 2016.

Additionally, bird watchers have flocked to Grand Lake because of the diverse species in the area. Birding is especially popular in Lendonwood Gardens located just a few miles from Grand Lake. So make sure you bring your binoculars and a camera when you visit.

When you’re not playing games at our great facility, you can get outdoors and check out Lendonwood Gardens. This Grove garden is a must see for both locals and tourists.

HAR-BER VILLAGE MUSEUM

Engage in a pioneer-era village and history museum complete with The Country Store gift shop, The Weaver retail shop and a visitor center. The village is located on the shores of Grand Lake. Visitors experience the four state areas history and ecology while viewing antiques, collectibles and reproductions to represent the mid-1800s to early 1900s.
